Character list of Arabian Nights and Day story: (From Arabian Nights and Day Wordpress with some personal notes)
To keep track of character, I separated the people spared and not spared from their crimes. In other words, people spared are those committed crimes but eventually redeem to their goodness; meanwhile, those not spared also committed crimes but ultimately get persecuted for their sins.

- Perfume seller who met the sultan's sister-in-law, Dunyazad, in his dreams under a dellusion that they are married
- Victim of the two genies'- Sahkrabout and Zarmabaha- game
- Tries to find Dunyazad after waking up from the dream
- Sought help from the Madman
- Marries Dunyazad after the Madman kill Karam al-Aseel
2. Hasan al-Altar
- Druggist and the son of Ibrahim al-Alttar
- Brother of Qamar and a friend of Galil al-Bazzaz
- One of the people who attacked Shamloul the hunchback in the heat of drunk with other merchants from Café of the Emirs
3. Fadil Sanaan
- Son of Sanaan al-Gamali and Umm Saad; brother of Husniya
- Husband of Akraman
- Supporter of the religious sects Shiites or Kharijites that rebel against the corrupted government
- One of the people who attacked Shamloul the hunchback in the heat of drunk
- Given the cap of invisibility by Sahkrabout
- Stolen money from the butcher; raped Qamar al-Alttar and Qut al-Quloub; hit the heads of merchants and caused fights in Café of the Emirs; and prisoned for his crimes but got away under the cap of invisibility
4. Galil al-Bazzaz
- Drapper; friend of Hasan al-Alttar
- One of the people who attacked Shamloul the hunchback in the heat of drunk
- Extorted by Ugr the Barber for 10,000 dinars

- Wealthy, innocent merchant who ultimately got trap in genie's trap

2. Karam al-Aseel
- Corrupted millionaire who tries to marry Dunyazad through forcing the sultan to sign a contract marriage of his sister-in-law to him in trade of money to supply the war
- Has a face of a monkey
- Got killed by the madman so that Fadil and Dunyazad can be together
3. Ibrahim al-Alttar
- Druggist and friend with many wealthy merchant that the Café of the Emirs
- Father of Hasan al-Alttar and Qamar al-Alttar
- Shot by Abullah the Porter with an arrow

- Slaves to Gulnar and serves Ugr the barber every Mondays
- Killed by Gulnar and her body is disposed by Ugr the barber

- Serves Ugr every Monday and kills her sister out of jealously
9. Lady Gamila:
- Wife of Suleilman al- Zeini but later divorces
- Works with al-Mu’in ibn Sawi to get rid of Qut al-Quloub; flogged in treachery

- Wants to marries Zubeida but her father disagrees
